IT'S IN NOTTINGHAM

Robin Hood's Adventure Trail
I worked with It’s in Nottingham on the visual identity and illustrated artwork for The Robin Hood’s Adventure Trail - a free, city-wide family experience inviting participants to solve puzzles and uncover the Sheriff of Nottingham’s hidden treasure.
The trail features 11 illustrated characters placed across Nottingham city centre, each holding a letter that helps visitors crack the final code. My artwork has been displayed throughout the city since 2024, with the illustrations rearranged annually to refresh the experience while maintaining a consistent visual style.
My design also inspired the trail’s mascot character, which has become a recognisable part of the event’s branding. The illustrations appear on physical trail maps, signage, and promotional materials, helping to guide families through Nottingham’s landmarks and bring the story to life.
RSPB Sherwood Forest

I have worked with the RSPB at their Sherwood Forest site since 2022 on a series of illustrated projects designed to enhance visitor engagement through storytelling, history, and nature.
Trail Boards
In 2022, I illustrated trail boards for the Jubilee Trail, helping guide visitors through the forest while introducing key points of interest, as well as accompanying trail sheets. Alongside this, I created a set of Robin Hood Outlaws posters, displayed throughout the forest as part of the trail experience, blending local legend with a family-friendly visual style.
Colouring Sheets
My work also extends into the visitor centre, where I designed new free colouring sheets for children and families. These include character-based illustrations of the Outlaws and the Sheriff’s men, as well as nature-themed designs inspired by the wildlife of Sherwood Forest.
Information Boards
In addition, I created permanent illustrated panels for the herb garden, combining decorative artwork with informative content about medieval herbs and their historical uses. These pieces are now a lasting part of the site, supporting learning through illustration.
